About Quiet Company

A North East live duo.

We're Nicky and Owen — a two-piece live act from the North East. We've spent years playing rooms across Durham, from quiet corner pubs to packed bar nights and weddings out in the Dales. Our sound sits somewhere between indie, rock and proper acoustic singalongs, with a setlist built to suit the room rather than work through the same songs every night.

Why book us

Why choose Quiet Company.

  • A genuinely local duo who know the Durham venue scene
  • Full PA and tasteful stage lighting included
  • Flexible setlists — background sets, lively bar nights or full singalongs
  • Easy to deal with from first email to last song
  • Insured, PAT tested and used to working with venue staff
  • Songs people actually want to hear, played properly

What we play

Songs that fill the room.

Our sets pull from the bands that built Durham's pub and venue soundtrack — indie classics, rock anthems and a few modern favourites that always land.

We also drop in acoustic versions of dance tracks and modern hits to keep things moving later in the night.
